ISC2026: EPD International Conference
Meet KarbunWise at ISC2026, the EPD International Conference in India, on EPDs, LCA and CBAM readiness.
ISC2026, organised by EPD International, brought together EPD practitioners, LCA experts, verifiers, manufacturers and policymakers in New Delhi. The programme combined panel discussions, expert sessions and hands-on training, with a focus on what it takes to scale EPD adoption in India.

The three days at ISC2026 offered the right mix of panel discussions, expert sessions and hands-on training, and an unusually high density of expert practitioners. Holding the conference in India highlighted the opportunity in this space. EPD adoption here is still at an early stage, and much of the discussion focused on what is needed to scale:
- The right incentives for companies to invest in EPDs
- More cost-effective solutions that make EPDs repeatable, not one-off projects
- The right technology, including AI that speeds up LCA while keeping results trusted by verifiers
- Capability building at scale across industry
With CBAM approaching, there was strong interest in implementation and verification, and in how companies with tens or even hundreds of export SKUs in scope can prepare. On the final day, Arjun presented KarbunWise’s CBAM solution in the working session led by Dr. Nasser Ayoub.
As exhibitors, we met industry stakeholders, gathered feedback on where our products add value, and explored how KarbunWise can support EPD adoption at scale in India and beyond. Thank you to EPD International for organising the event.
